  • Hi Peter, really enjoyed reading the blog post about sustainability on vacation and absolutely love it. Your separation between regular life and vacation truly shows the current situation. There is a lot, which needs to be done as I don’t see sustainability as a burden. But that’s me… I am already posting about steps we as individuals can do to reduce our waste, but working in tourism I see the necessity of doing more. This past year I have been to several islands in Thailand and I was shocked about the growing waste issue… locals blame it on the tourists and vice versa… Education lacks far behind… so much to do and not sure where to start…

    • Hi Madeleine. I really appreciate your comments and feedback. You are right, on many of the islands in Thailand and elsewhere, there are large piles of garbage right behind the resorts. The way of disposing is commonly just to burn everything. I will check out your website – from the first peek, it looks fantastic.

    • Hi Hans. Did you receive an e-mail with a confirmation link? If you received it, just click the link, and it should work. If you did not receive a confirmation e-mail, try to write you e-mail address in the subscription field again. Hope that works. Good day to you.
